How do you feel about the new minimum wage? For those businesses that are "Family Owned and Operated" I feel will be hardest hit, and may suffer the burden of bankrupcy, because they will not be able to pay thier own employees. Or if they do, the cost of what they are selling will also go up exponentially. I know that with the doctor I work for, my income will not be matched when the new wage goes into effect. I currently make $9 and I know that unless I find something that will adjust with the min. wage, I will still be making that little scrap of cash when the new wage takes effect. Then there is the cost of living.

I am seeking employment in the Medical/Administrative Assistant field. I have 3 years in the medical field as a ParaOptometric Technician, I am certified in CPR, and have done a little bit of Medical Billing. I have 15 years in Customer Service thanks to McDonald's, 10 of those years in Management. I am a quick learner, anxious to find employment in a learning practitioners office.
