 Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Product Development Engineer for Memphis, TN. Scope or work:Job Functions will include all activities associated with new design, development and modification of existing products including fans, lighting and accessories. The chosen candidate will use sound engineering principles to develop and refine product from concept to manufacturing applying reliable product designs that meet performance, compliance, product integrity, safety and aesthetic requirements. Will apply solid modeling techniques to develop/design components, assemblies and complete product. Will also be involved in product prototyping and testing.Requirements include 3-7 years of experience with high volume electro-mechanical products or components. Proficiency in using 3D engineering design software preferably Pro-E. Experience in sheet-metal, injection-molding and or die-casting. Background in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances is desirable. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Education should include a BS Degree in Mechanical (BSME) or technical discipline (PE License).-This will be 50% ProE mostly 3D Design type work. -Salary range is 55-65K depending on experience.-The successful candidate with project management experience would be good for future promotions to project manager.
