Director Of quality Engineer: Top-ranked Firm in global manufacturer of technologically advanced highly reliable printed circuit boards has an immediate need for Director Of quality Engineer for its location in Forest Grove, Oregon The Director of Quality Engineer for evaluating resources in the quality organization, leading and managing the quality team, Organizing and implementing quality standards and systems for manufacturing shop floor needs as well as customer needs, Overseeing the design and implementation of improvements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment, Assessing company performance and drive effective changes in the system and organization, developing and conducting customer presentations to effectively demonstrate the firm commitment to quality.
The qualified Director of Quality Engineer will have: - Previous quality leadership experience, utilizing strategic concept and company objectives to resolve complex issues (typically requires 8+ years of related experience)
- Previous management experience (5+ years) in team based management skills with excellent interpersonal communication.
- Experience in resources allocation, capital project management, departmental budget management and related tasks as required in a fact paced, dynamic, high technology driven manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated strength in communication with Tier 1 customers: presentation skills and preparation using power point (5+ experience)
- Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of statistical techniques (SPC, DOE, etc)
- Strong understanding and experience in manufacturing environment including machining, welding processes, heat treating, plating, etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 requirements and implementation.
Education: - BS in Quality Engineering or related Sciences Filed.
- ASQ certification strongly preferred.
- international Experience required
- Experience IN ERP System implementation preferred.
- Experience in PCB Manufacturing Strongly Preferred.
