Position Title: Sr. Project Engineer, Ogden, UT Position Summary: Design engineer with 10+ yrs experience in the design of mechanical and electromechanical actuators. Must be skilled in the detail design of components such as ball/acme screws, gears and gear trains, electric motors & brakes and similar equipment. Responsibilities: 1. Perform complex engineering analysis and problem solving methods to support new &nb sp; product development. 2. Primary technical point of contact for both internal and external customers 3. Overall technical project responsibility performing and directing design activities 4. Familiar with Design-to-Cost, Design-for-Manufacturing & Assembly, and other cost reduction methodologies Job Requirements: (BS) in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering or a related technical discipline. 2. Ten or more years of related experience in Aerospace flight controls and actuators. 3. Experienced in the design and operation of mechanical & electromechanical actuators and components used in aerospace applications 4. Create new layout drawings from customer specification. 5. Review and approve engineering documents, drawings, procedures and specifications. 6. Familiar with testing and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electromechanical components. 7. lead a team of designers and support engineers in the design and development process 8. Manage the technical portion of a product development program 9.
