What job did we have you in mind for? We are currently working with a medical facility in Seattle, WA (Beacon Hill) that is looking to hire a Facilities Coordinator to join their team. Details of the job are below. Duration: Temp to hire Location: Seattle, WA (Beacon Hill) Pay: $19-23/hr. Job Summary: Is responsible for coordinating a variety of general maintenance, repair, moves, including calculating time frames, requisitioning and ordering supplies, coordinating vendors and reviewing work orders for proper and timely completion. Is responsible for supporting security and safety related activities. Works with the Facilities Services Team to achieve goals in resource utilization, process improvement, delivered quality, and preventive maintenance programs. Establishes priorities to meet the needs of the business and maximize effectiveness. Ensures communication of business/customer issues to the members of the group. Assists in the development of preventive maintenance procedures, frequencies and schedules on related equipment and facilities. Provides assistance to achieve cost attainment, quality, delivery, and budget. Provides ongoing communication with internal/external resources. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent, AA in a related field preferred. • 5 years experience in an administrative role within a Facilities Department. • Experience in a clinical environment preferred. • Experienced in vendor negotiation and contract management. • 3 years of work experience in a customer oriented environment. • 3+ years progressive database experience. Additional Qualifications: • Experience creating and maintaining standard operating procedures. • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and ability to learn industry related software, required. • Able to communicate with all types of individuals, provide superior customer service and has strong interpersonal skills. • Excellent written communications skills. • Detail-oriented, able to prioritize assignments, and able to multi-task. • Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment. • Ability to read, write and interpret English-language instructions and/or directions. • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
