Electronic Engineer – Lexington, TN

Headway Corporate Resources seeking experienced Electronic Engineer to research, develop, design, and test electronic components, equipment, and for great opportunity located in Lexington, TN!

Responsibilities

Design electrical equipment, systems / subsystems, products, and components for commercial, industrial and government applications. A wide range of knowledge is expected to design complete control cabinet solutions, including motor starters, breakers/fuses/other protection devices, PLC’s, VFD drives, circuit designs (sometimes at the board level), and regulator applications. Assists with and directs personnel in development of test control apparatus and equipment, and determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products. Performs / directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Expected program experience includes, but is not limited to, MS Office, ACAD Electrical, OrCad and P-Spice.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.E.E.) from four-year College or University; and 3+ years of related experience and/or training.  

Analog and digital circuit hardware design experience including embedded systems, microprocessors, DSP’s, PLD’s, FPGA’s desired. Experience with Programmable Logic Controller development desired (Rockwell Automation RSLogix and RSView experience preferred). Some level of software design experience preferred (Assembly, C, C++, Visual Basic). Industrial controls design experience including low and medium voltage power systems control and protection engineering is desirable. Experience in electronic circuit / system design for EMI/RFI a plus. How to Apply:
