Electrical Design Engineer – Lexington, TN

Headway Corporate Resources seeking experienced Electrical Design Engineer for opportunity located in Lexington, TN!

Responsibilities

Self-motivated electrical engineering professional with experience in all stages of design and re-design of rotating equipment (generators / motors) who can apply in-depth technical knowledge and skills to complex rotating machine applications while meeting technical, cost and time requirements. Must be able to lead root cause failure analysis of field engine-generator sets, ensure technical accuracy, effective methodology and achieve time results. Will be required to document and clearly communicate results within the organization and to customers as appropriate. Assist customers and consulting engineers with aftermarket support issues pertaining to generator commissioning and systems interface. Identifies, promotes and leads improved methods and work processes. Lead internal and external customer education through seminars and make technical contributions to manuals and other company literature.

Requirements

BSEE and 5 + years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment preferably in the electrical power generation industry Experience and knowledge of High Voltage Electrical Applications Experience in root cause analysis Willingness to travel / relocate
