Headway Corporate Resources seeking experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for opportunity located in Lexington, TN!

Responsibilities

Self-motivated mechanical engineering professional with experience in all stages of design and re-design of rotating equipment (i.e. Generators / Motors) who can apply in-depth technical knowledge and skills to complex rotating machine applications while meeting technical, cost, and time requirements. Must be able to lead root cause failure analysis of field engine-generator sets, ensure technical accuracy, effective methodology and achieve timely results. Will be required to document and clearly communicate results within the organization and to customers as appropriate. Assist customers and consulting engineers with aftermarket support issues pertaining to generator commissioning and systems interface. Identifies, promotes, and leads improved methods and work processes. Lead customer education through seminars, and technical contributions to manuals and sales literature.

BSME Engineering Demonstrated leadership skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in root cause analysis techniques 5 years engineering experience, 5 or more in electrical power industry. Willingness to travel/relocate
