ecohaus is seeking an experienced manager to oversee and lead their rapidly growing and successful Web Store and Call Center. The ideal candidate will have solid management experience as well as a strong understanding of internet commerce, will know how to get business done and see the big picture. As a leader of the Web Store and Call Center teams you will drive the development and execution of all applicable business initiatives while providing unsurpassed customer service. You will be responsible for maximizing sales and revenue while managing the development and implementation of e-commerce site strategies used to market products via the internet. You should be highly motivated, dependable, and have a desire to take ownership of your duties to help the company grow and succeed. This position reports directly to the CEO. What you’ll be responsible for: • Website Management: Provide project management and oversight to external consultants, web designers and developers during redesign of the ecohaus site and with all future updates and website expansions • Sales: With senior management team, develop sales and expense budgets and execute online plans to achieve monthly sales and operating profit targets while also representing and promoting the retail brick and mortar stores’ pricing, promotions and programs • Marketing: Develop and execute strategic plans to build on-line presence and drive new and repeat customers to the Web Store and Call Center. Analyze key performance indicators of customer behavior and use to improve sales • Merchandising: Plan and implement product placement and content on the web site that entice customers to buy • Inventory Control: With operations team maximize inventory turns, clearance management and improve content offerings; understand and improve cross-channel sales strategies and influence of Web Store on in-store purchases • Customer Service: Model and implement standards for exemplary people skills and consistent courtesy when interacting with customers and public via phone and in person • Human Resource Management: Recruit and hire team members; Provide direction to and supervision of the units’ staff, including scheduling, work allocation, training and problem resolution. Evaluate performance; motivate employees to achieve peak performance What you need to be considered: • 3+ years in high volume, ecommerce website management/online social marketing • 3+ years management experience in customer service, call center, consumer product retail or mail order catalog environment • Call Center experience • Thorough understanding of online retailing and marketing • Demonstrated success in development and execution of strategic, cost-effective online business initiatives, plans and campaigns • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with direct reports and senior management • Knowledge of site operations, on-line best practices and web trend analysis • Outstanding English written, reading and verbal communication skills • High level of initiative and self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure • Proficient in all MSFT Office applications, Frontpage ,HTML and Web Editing software such as Dreamweaver or GOLIVE Puget Sound local candidates only Bonus Points • Overseen a minimum of $1,000,000 in revenues • Strong understanding of affiliate marketing, SEO, paid search, organic search and marketing analysis. • Bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing or related field If this sounds like you, please send a resume and cover letter to: pickme@ecohaus.com (no phone calls or visits, please.)
