PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manager Onsite at a client location- US/CA Customs service providers (Brokers and Customs Service Providers) and On-site Customs Contract Staff. Specific responsibilities include: •Broker Management •HTS Classification Processes •Compliance Audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley Audits •Pre Entry Processes, including Marking Waivers, •Post Entry Processes, including CF28’s, CF29’s, Liquidated Damages, SIL’s, Protests, and Prior Disclosures •Duty Quoting Processes •OGA Processes, including FDA and FCC •Develop & Maintain Corporate Customs Policies •Identify and Implement Process Improvements •Conduct Special Projects YEARS EXPERIENCE: Minimum 8-10 years experience. DEGREE REQUIRED: Bachelor degree in related discipline preferred. DESIRED COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE: •Extensive knowledge of import regulations •Subject Matter Expert at HTS classification •Supervisory Experience •Excellent communication and writing skills •Project Management Experience •Problem Solving Skills •Process Oriented •Process Management Skills •Extensive PC skills including MS Access SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (i.e. Overtime, Travel, etc.): •Some travel required to North American plants •Occasional overtime required
