Busch's is seeking experienced, knowledgeable, and motivated candidates to direct/lead our team/operations as Store Manager. Busch’s is your family owned neighborhood grocer with 15 stores and continuing to grow throughout Southeastern Michigan. We take the best of today’s style and freshness, blend it with traditional values, personal service, and wholesomeness that you would expect to find from your neighborhood grocer, but seldom find at other stores. Some of the most important tasks of our managers perform is to ensure that our high service, superior facilities, and product quality standards are met and exceeded. Store Manager Accountabilities: • Projects and recognizes business trends and staffs within parameters to maintain optimum performance, monitors results and determines improvement tactics. • Meets or exceeds goals relative to financial objectives • Builds strong working relationships with associates, vendors, guests and community • Sets clear performance expectations for Department Managers, monitors progress and develop actions plan for process improvement(s) and associate development. • Integral role in the transformation of managers talents into performance and further coaching/development of their skills • Staffing, leading, and mentoring associates • Effective merchandising – product introduction, seasonal/holiday, blending, and cross merchandising • Ensure compliance with labor laws and all other regulatory agencies • Securitization of all company assets Qualified candidates will have: • 2-3 years of recent Grocery or Retail experience • Must have held financial accountability in regards to budgets, forecasting, and maintaining compliance with financial directives for the organization. • Outstanding communication skills and passion for guest service • Working knowledge of Microsoft office • Progressive management of staff consisting of 25 associates or more • A Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required) We are proud to offer a full line of health care benefits (medical, dental, and vision), supplemental insurance, disability, vacation/sick time, 401K, performance based bonuses, and competitive compensation.
