Position Summary The Company Supervisor has daily interaction with employees and responsibility for insuring team tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. They possess the ability to effectively manage time, delegate responsibilities, and manage projects and people. Supervisors will cultivate company employee growth and development within a team environment. Primary Responsibilities •Supervises, trains, schedules, and provides daily direction to hourly employees; •Plans, coordinates, and executes all activities for support of the customer’s needs and deliverables; •Provides status reports as requested to Manager on the progress and results of all team activity; •Provides excellent customer service. •Tracks all issues and coordinates follow-up with manager for resolution of the customer’s business and IT development teams; •Schedules resources and maintains overall team calendar; •Administers HR policies to team members •Interacts directly with Manager to assist the customer’s business leadership on issues and escalations; •Supervises troubleshooting the methods & procedures for specific areas of support; •Performs analysis and measurement of the customer’s satisfaction and follow-up on outstanding issues with users; deliverables and expectations; •Provides subject matter expertise to the customer on the specific areas supported; •Serve as backup to the management team as requested •Communicates and exhibits the Company’s Vision, Values, and Goals; •Special projects and/or tasks as assigned Specific Job Functions •Provides direction and motivation to the team; •Works with Manager to cultivate employees growth and development; •Manages workload within budgeted hours; •Approves and submits weekly time reports to Manager for the team; •Supervises employees adherence to corporate policy and procedures, administering disciplinary steps as appropriate; •Communicates corporate policy and procedures timely, positively, and accurately; •Develops and monitors progress of cross training/succession plans for each employee; •Meets all customer and corporate defined performance measure for the team; •Provides support during pre-planning, P&A, through implementation and on-going support for projects; i.e., estimates, development of testing scenarios, communication plans, and implementation plans; •Implements and tracks transitional and new hire progress reviews (30, 60, and 90 day reviews) •Administers the performance appraisal plan and process: cover each employee, tracks results and provides year-end feedback and overall appraisal rating; •Engages and motivates employees through team building events and appropriate recognition (informal/formal) •Creates and updates quarterly customer and Company process documentation and tools defining/supporting all team work functions. Minimum Job Requirements •Proficient in MS Tools 97-2000, intermediate to advanced level; MS Project and VISIO helpful. •BA/BS degree or 3-4 years work experience preferred •1-2 years previous management experience preferred. •Strong verbal and written communication skills.
