This position supports our Accounting and Operations team. This position is an integral part of our Accounting and Finance team. The ideal candidate is detailed-oriented and well organized. The Senior Accountant should possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and an enthusiastic, proactive and entrepreneurial attitude. Responsibilities: - Assist in all aspects of the accounting operations including month end close, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, expense reporting, and payroll; help to ensure that all revenue, expenses, assets and liabilities are appropriated managed and tracked
- Provide variance and trend analysis for revenue and operating expenses
- Create reporting packages and work with senior management to define and track key performance metrics
- Consolidate the financial results of international subsidiaries; assist in implementing effective financial controls in those subsidiaries
- Assist in defining and implementing scalable financial processes to support the growth of the business; help to establish appropriate company-wide improvements in accounting controls (i.e. expense guidelines, final billing processes, etc.)
- Assist in preparing for annual financial audits
- Assist in the development of our worldwide budgeting and planning processes
- Participate in the strategy and project execution phases of system development projects
- Ad hoc financial and management reporting as required
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of accounting experience including General Ledger Accounting required
- Able to meet strict deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel skills required
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to identify and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Strong analytical skills - experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
- Experience with marketing accounting software a plus
- Global experience a plus
