Exciting and top rated company is looking for a Senior Accountant. This company is experiencing rapid growth and is adding a new position to the accounting team due to growth. The senior accountant should want a dynamic environment. The senior accountant will work well on a team of other outgoing and team focused individuals and will want to work with other people in different departments. Client is looking for a fast learner and someone who wants to grow their career. If someone is on the track to be a CPA or has the desire to get their CPA this is a plus. This is a really fun and inspiring office! Work life balance is important to the controller and the CFO. The senior accountant will report directly to the controller and will have a lot of exposure to working with the CFO and Director of Finance. The senior accountant will not manage anyone at this point, but this may be a possibility in the future. The senior accountant will "own" the month end close and will need to work without a lot of direction. In addition, the person will want to be proactive in growing the job and the opportunity. Salary will depend on experience. Client is open to 70k and maybe more depending on direct experience and designations.
