Forensics 101 is expanding to Atlanta, and we are looking for some high energy, high impact science instructors. Forensics 101, Inc (www.forensics101.org) is a mobile science enrichment/entertainment company that offers a wide variety of forensic science programs, camps, workshops, parties, and crime scene experiences to youth and adults. We have developed an invigorating science enrichment program that brings hands-on, crime scene science related experiences to youth, teens, and adults across the country, reminding everyone that science is FUN. Our goal is to encourage continuous learning and FUN in science by developing and delivering high quality, in-depth forensic science opportunities. Our mission is not only to educate, but to also stimulate a sense of excitement about the various forensic science disciplines. Besides, we know that everyone loves a good MYSTERY! A Forensics 101 Instructor position is a very part time position initially ranging from 10-20 hours per week. Being an Instructor is perfect for college students (18 years and older) or anyone who need an afternoon job with a flexible schedule. Forensics 101 Instructors are responsible for delivering high impact forensic science/ criminal justice programs. Each session is a high impact, high energy, hands-on class. Instructors travel to schools, churches, libraries, homeschool groups, senior centers, camps, recreation centers, and more to deliver our high energy programs. Instructors can earn up to $35 per one hour program (averaging $17.5hr with set up and clean up). FORENSICS 101 INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS To be invited to an interview you must have the following qualifications: •Have a background in science, forensics, and or criminal justice •Looking for part time work. •Able to attend training and orientation. •18+ years of age •Have a very outgoing and fun personality •Enjoy and have experience working with youth and teens (paid or volunteer). •Be responsible, dependable, punctual, etc. •Can pass a drug screen and/or background check •Up-beat, energetic, people-friendly personality. •Be able to work a minimum of 2 sessions per week. •Have a reliable car or access to a reliable transportation. •Have a valid driver’s license and current proof of automobile insurance. •You must be willing to travel to your assigned location.
