Recruiting Assistant Hughes & Sloan, Inc., a respected and established name in legal recruiting, is seeking a Recruiting Assistant. This person will be responsible for assisting with the full-cycle recruitment of legal support staff for Atlanta-area law firms and corporate legal departments, which entails scheduling initial interviews with candidates, checking references and administering tests, creating job descriptions and candidate profiles, posting job orders, client and candidate interaction, extensive research, and composition of correspondence and various other written materials. This person will also provide administrative assistance to other recruiters within the company, including senior recruiters, the Vice President, and the Founder/President, in the recruitment of lateral associates and partners. Administrative tasks include, but are not limited to, updating files (both electronic and hard-copy), composing and editing correspondence, reviewing and revising resumes and representative matters lists for candidates, sourcing candidates for active job orders, researching markets nationwide for lateral associate and partner openings, coordinating meetings and interviews (including travel and accommodations arrangements), corresponding with clients, and reviewing and revising client contracts. Other general administrative duties include substantial research utilizing the Internet and internal databases, website maintenance, creation of proposals, including RFPs, and marketing materials, and receptionist back-up. Strong organizational skills are required for this position, as are a keen attention to detail and solid proofreading and writing skills. Previous administrative experience required as well. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and familiar with calendaring through Outlook. Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Excel and/or ACT helpful. College degree preferred.
