JOB TITLE: Senior Manager - Federal Tax Reporting

Global firm with operations in over 60 countries is seeking a Senior Manager, Federal Tax Reporting with 4 years Big 4 and/or large multinational corporate experience. Responsibilities include meeting the Federal income tax reporting requirements and ensuring full compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404. The role will specifically focus on tax compliance for the company's U.S. entities and involve building and maintaining a key relationship between the tax department and business operations. Responsibilities also include review of senior accountants work. The primary responsibilities are outlined below: Key responsibilities: - Prepare US Federal income tax filings including F1120 and supporting schedules, quarterly estimated payments and extensions, and other filings as required. - Prepare various analysis for the quarterly and annual tax provisions, Effective Tax Rate drivers, cash forecasts and other as required. - Prepare and analyze supporting documentation for special projects such as NOL updates, Sec. 199 Manufacturing Deduction, Uniform Capitalization (Sec. 263A), audit support, etc. - Prepare and update certain quarterly and annual SOX documentation. Other responsibilities include: - Leadership work with other members of the tax team and IT to assist in developing procedures and controls regarding federal tax reporting and tax accounting. - Project Involvement provide support for tax department special projects and related oversight and management. - Training assist in providing training as necessary to business unit contacts and data suppliers. Requirements: - 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or MST preferred - Minimum 4 years Big 4 and/or large multinational corporate experience required - Significant experience with U.S. tax compliance reporting - Working knowledge of FAS 109 - Significant Hyperion or similar software experience preferred.
