Duration: 9 Months plus possible extentions POSITION SUMMARY: This position is for a rising star that is eager to play an integral role in technical projects, operations processes, resource planning, and scheduling customer work for our client's Technical Operations team. Our client is an award winning Media and Entertainment company. This position will coordinate, track and manage tasks for technical projects for the Technical Operations team. Primary responsibilities include revising, communicating, and educating customers on approved production processes, and communicating frequently with customers and TSS shared resources to check on schedule status. Other responsibilities include aggregating, distributing, and facilitating day to day work via the Service Desk ticketing system and related communication between other Operations teams, Central Engineering and other customers and stakeholders. In addition, the technical project manager is responsible for providing insight and analysis of work requests throughout the Operations team and supporting customer’s management with reporting needs and documentation (via HP Service Desk, Project Server EPK, and other tools). This person will also work closely with other project managers and the PMO. This requires forecasting labor hours, tracking and reporting on actual hours, ensuring all project/M&S codes are set up in the TSS time tracking system, and reconciling all time tracking with the Systems Engineering team. This position will work with Central Engineering project managers and provides direct support to the manager of Systems Engineering. The role requires someone who is inventive; extremely detail oriented, very organized and flexible. Knowledge of software, hardware, and web applications is required. - Develop effective project plan based on task assessment
- Participate in standard processes
