Please view several of the job descriptions below: Human Resources Specialist PeopleSoft expert with current working knowledge of version 8.9 or later to input data and process information as assigned. Required Skills: • PeopleSoft HR life cycle data entry • PeopleSoft HR data corrections – for all of their employees (including International) • Audits – HR, Payroll, Benefits • Reports – Peoplesoft, Actuate, adhoc, and scheduled Metrics Administrative Support • Perform a variety of administrative functions such as, scheduling appointments, give information to callers, and take dictation • Compose memos, transcribe notes, and research and create presentations • Generate reports, handle multiple projects, and prepare and monitor invoices and expense reports • May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget • Requires a high school diploma with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals • Perform a variety of complicated tasks • May direct and lead the work of others • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Accounting Assistant This Tax Analyst position is involved in all aspects of domestic transaction tax compliance and research in the unique and quickly evolving field of e-commerce. Primary duties will include preparing transaction tax (sales/use, business & occupation, gross receipts, and property tax) returns for monthly, quarterly and annual filings; researching transaction tax issues; interpreting and complying with state, local and international statutes, regulations, and legislation; preparing for, and assisting with, transaction tax audits. This position requires an ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail, analytical skills and strong communication skills are essential. Required Skills include: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other four year degree with equivalent accounting experience • 1-5 years accounting or transaction tax experience • Strong computer technical skills – MS Excel • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail • Strong communication skills - both oral and written • Team-player, customer-centric attitude Project/Program Manager Identify, create, develop and integrate innovative solutions and programs that lead to improvements in their worldwide transportation network. Their worldwide transportation encompasses all of the operations that deliver worldwide shipments to and from their fulfillment centers and third party locations. The successful candidate will address opportunities that improve transportation costs, decrease delivery times, and increase customer demand. This involves building vendor relationships, identifying solutions in the marketplace and negotiating terms along with preparing the analysis summary of cost saving opportunities to determine the priority and feasibility of potential projects. The candidate will be able to develop innovative projects that drive improvements in our transportation processes, to include design, measurement, & performance. Qualifications: • MBA or graduate degree or BA/BS in business, engineering, logistics or similar field plus six (4) years experience • SQL, Data retrieval/mining skills using Data Warehouse Systems • Demonstrated negotiation skills and management of third-party vendors • Familiarity with the design and operation of complex operating processes • Adaptability to a variety of environments and situations • Independent & Entrepreneurial showing the ability to work with minimal direction • Familiar with Excel and able to generate metrics and track performance • Proven project management ability that shows how to organize, find solutions and follow through to a successful conclusion Preferred skill sets: • Experience with worldwide small package and/or truckload transportation industry; including knowledge of relevant carriers and high-volume small package operations • Knowledge of Line-Haul, LTL and Parcel rate structures is highly desirable • Knowledge of import/export and hazmat regulations • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Buying Assistant Buying Assistants should have strong communication and organizational skills. This person will be instrumental to the buying team by managing and executing all the tasks related to item number creations. Primary responsibilities range around all aspects of managing this creation. This involves intense and repetitive communication with vendors, image center and their fulfillment center community. Also pulling data queries, working on large amounts of data in Excel, and ad hoc reporting as needed. The ideal candidates will have a background in retail or e-commerce. They must be able to work in a highly demanding, but collegial environment where teamwork is essential. Successful candidates must be highly organized and have good computer skills (Excel and Word). They will also be flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting and comfortable with computer databases and tools. The ability to problem-solve using creative thinking and innovation are a plus. They must be decisive, able to move with speed to implement their own ideas, supporting the improvement of the team goals at the same time that they are driving results for specific category management. Candidates must be comfortable in a high-throughput production environment, familiar with MS Office and have demonstrated the ability to learn new software packages in a short time frame. Previous experience with grocery or drugstore retail is a plus.
