Member Services Manager, Chicago Yacht Club, Monroe Harbor Station Overview: Handles reservation, directs telecommunication, handles retail logoed items, helps visiting yachtsmen, provides general directions for Chicago, directs members needs to the appropiate department, updates website. Key Duties 1. Schedules, trains, hires, and manages the front desk service staff. 2. Answers all lines coming into to the club, and directs to the appropiate department or manager 3. Handles the reservation taking, and information to the members for various club social events. 4. Trains staff and updates information about the club, events in Chicago, and other important information. 5. Makes buying decisions for logoed items availble in retail shop. Handles inventories, sets selling prices to meet budget crtieria, handles special orders. 6. Updates information on the club's website. Reports to General Manager. This is a salaried postion with bonus based on meeting defined goals. The club offers a number of benefits including health, dental, 401k, free employee meals, free parking. The club is also convienant to public transportation on the loop. Qualifcations Degree in Business or Hospitality management. Past experience in a club or hotel required. Outgoing personality, enjoys working with people Strong work ethic Ability to multitask Computer skills to include word, excel, and internet knowledge
