OUTSTANDING ACCOUNTANT – Join our Crew! Weigh anchor and chart your course to the NMMA! The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) is THE principal trade association in the U.S. and Canada for the manufacturers of recreational boats and marine products! It is serious business in a fun industry. Our mission is to make boating the #1 choice in recreation. We are a looking for an OUSTANDING accountant to join our talented team. The Accounting team’s role is to be the proactive and analytical financial resource for NMMA. Do you want to optimize our systems and processes? You will be responsible for full cycle accounting, budgeting & analysis, from bow to stern. We know you are looking for a challenge; you will find it at NMMA! We are not looking for just any port in storm, but a strategic accountant who can create, own, and manage issues regarding the reporting and fully cycle accounting. Come help streamline our process with your experience and knowledge! Take the helm with us. Our standards are high as we know yours are too. The first month on board you will be immersed in our monthly business cycle, by the 3 month mark, you will be an integral part of the budgeting and reporting process, including financial analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, and communications with budget managers and various boards of directors. By 18 months you will be a pivotal financial resource for NMMA, its affiliates, and its customers, assisting with the annual audit, as well as collaborating with fellow team members on process improvements and efficiencies. A captain’s license is not required, but a CPA is desired.
