LAWSON SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR Location: Georgia - Atlanta Department: Information Technology Education Required: Bachelors Degree Experience Required: 3 - 5 Years Position Description Provides ongoing Lawson system support and maintenance of Lawson environment, including application monitoring, issue resolution and working with the appropriate technical internal and external IT staff. • Interacts with ACS NHO Help Desk staff and other staff to provide second level support for the ACS Lawson system. • Manages installation and implementation of Lawson Software products on Windows/Unix platforms including Lawson environments, all suites/modules, and installation/configuration of web servers. • Assist in special projects as needed. • Administers all hardware configuration and maintenance. • Collaborates with NHO IT staff in the creation of new technical environments and establishing appropriate standards and strategies for these environments. • Perform system maintenance as needed. • Manages Lawson system logs and statistical reports. Develop and test backup and disaster recovery procedures. • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems in order to provide a reliable Lawson environment for end users. • Apply application and environment patches/service packs as needed. Administers new version release and deployments. • Maintain user profiles and security. • Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Analytic, troubleshooting, and communication skills are critical. Minimum 2 years experience as Lawson System Administrator in a UNIX environment. COBOL programming and/or Oracle DBA skills preferred.
