Nation's largest homebuilders association is looking for an office operations clerk to handle a variety of projects. Major Duties: Back-up receptionist for 1st floor. Answer all calls and greet all visitors/members in a professional manner. Post mail, receive, sort and forward incoming mail. Operate folder/inserter machine for all mail projects for the Association Copy person for all projects for the association Assist other departments with mass mailing/special projects Keep 3rd floor workroom fully stocked, neat and tidy as needed, daily, weekly. Meeting room setup/reset, audio visual tech for meetings Assist in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies, maintain storeroom. Keeps kitchen area fully stocked, and keeps them neat and tidy as frequently as possible, ensuring coffee is available for all guests. Miscellaneous facilities issues May also assist with other related administrative duties such as photocopying, collating, faxing, filing, typing memos, correspondence, reports and other documents as requested by various departments in the Association. Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills: High School Diploma or GED supplemented with course work in typing, business machine and personal computer operations. Knowledge of business machine operations, use of personal computers and related software. Familiar with database systems and audio/visual. Must type 45 w.p.m. Must possess ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess ability to understand departmental operations and procedures. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. We're looking for a person who can be flexible, organized, outgoing, have attention detail and can make decisions on the fly.
