CFS, an affiliate of RSM McGladrey CPA firm is partnering with our client to staff a Cost Accountant need. This opportunity can start immediately. ABOUT THE COMPANY: A Seattle based company is searching for a new Cost Accountant team member. They are seeking a person with the skills and enthusiasm to help raise the bar for excellence in the industry. A friendly disposition and a team player mindset are a must! JOB OVERVIEW: Tasks will include (but are not limited to): implementing cost accounting procedures and methods, prepare and analyze cost reports and cost audits based on company financial information, review unusual cost records and ensure cost data is allocated correctly, analyze and explain variance and cost of sales accounts, prepare management reports as needed,determine risk and suggest internal controls. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS • Working knowledge of cost accounting; degree is preferred • Budget and planning experience a plus. • Must know how create a financial statement start to finish. • Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, Pivot Tables) • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential Please submit your resume to corinne.cavanaugh@rsmi.com for consideration.
