A stable and long standing Kent-based company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This position will assist in various aspects of the accounting cycle including payroll, some general ledger duties, inventory and assisting with month end close. The ideal candidate would either have an Associates degree with 5+ years of hands on experience in accounting or Bachelors in Accounting/Business with 1+ years of accounting experience. Experience using MAS90 or a similar software package is preferred and strong Excel skills are required. This is a smaller, privately owned company that has many tenured employees and a good reputation in their industry. They are currently interviewing qualified candidates. The company provides very competitive benefits, including a retirement plan, employee and dependents medical/dental/vision coverage. The starting salary range is 40K – 50K.
