Responsibilities: - Working experience in embedded software development for telecommunications an/or data networking equipment through design, implementation and test phases.
- Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS): OSE or pSOS but will consider VxWorks also
- Skilled in analyzing and debugging interface issues between software layers and between software and hardware
- Fluent in C/C++ languages
- Familiar with Tcl/Tk and Expect experience
- Skilled in Object-oriented Analysis and Design
- Experience with source-level debuggers (SDS, Multi)
- Familiar with logic analyzers
- Familiar with ClearCase
- Familiar with FrameMaker
- Dedicated, goal oriented, and a team player
- Strong Platform Development experience
- Strong device driver and BSP experience
- Strong IP Stack experience a plus
- Familiar with Ethernet, SONET and/or DWDM standards a plus
Qualifications- BSC
- Field of study in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering
- 7 + years experience
- Experience in Software Development for Telecommunications Access or Core Transmission Equipment
- Familiarity with Data Networking, Routers, SONET, DWDM
- Skills and abilities with Embedded Software Development for Telecommunications Equipment, C/C++, TCP/IP, MPLS, Control Plane, Routing, Layer 2/3 Switching, SONET, DWDM, APS, UPSR, BLSR
