Project Manager An leading kids gaming/virtual community company, is currently seeking a Project Manager. This position is a unique blend of project management, team management, and Research & Development (R&D) coordination. The ideal candidate will be excited about working in a creative environment, adept with managing a team of technical and creative professionals. This position manages the content development process including providing direction to the creative director, digital painters, designers and content producers. The Project Manager: Sets and achieves budget and resource planning for Content Development Department, including monthly, annual and quarterly budget forecasting. Oversees the design, development, testing and release of content with tech team. Constantly evaluates all aspects of department in order to make improvements Advises management of changes/issues that may affect profit, schedules, costs, and inter-departmental relations. Ensures proficiency and productivity of creative and technical team. Implements policies and procedures for processes, workflow, filing, and other services Coordinates delivery schedule with creative and technical resources Coordinates release schedule with technical team Directs budget planning within the content management function. Coordinates Team Leaders and/or Department Managers. Experience working with virtual communities or online gaming a plus. Previous project management or traffic experience 4 + years budget experience Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Project Understanding of effective team management and leadership -
