Our client performs consulting work to optimize the designs by others, and reduce energy consumption, emissions, and waste, and is looking for engineers (P.E. not necessarily required) with experience in one or more of the following areas: Efficiency improvements to utility infrastructure systems including HVAC, lighting, central chilled water & boiler plants, air compression, gas compression, refrigeration, water and waste water treatment, process heat recovery, recuperation, steam and water distribution systems, piping, pumping, motors and automated controls. LEED certified and or energy modeling experience - Combined Heat & Power (CHP), Distributed Generation (DG), Co-Generation - Renewable and alternative energy resources; biomass, biofuels, and waste to energy - Emissions reductions, waste reclaim, and operational optimization - Energy economic and life cycle analysis - Knowledge of energy rebates, incentives, tax deductions - Knowledge of emissions credits, cap & trade programs, and environmental/green incentives.
