1-year+ contract position as a Power Systems Engineer in Alpharetta, GA. Responsibilies: Propose and design industrial power system configurations at voltage levels from 34.5 kV to 480V, including transformers, switchgear, protective relaying, power distribution, motor control, and power system compensation. Must have experience with North American codes and standards, including NEC, ANSI/IEEE, UL, NEMA and OSHA. Responsibilities include proposal support, selection and recommendation of power system solutions, creating power system single-line diagrams, specifications and schematics, evaluating and selecting equipment. Experience in metal rolling, paper machines, municipal water system, marine and/or oil and gas pipeline applications is desirable.
