In the following projects I was the deputy program manager and finance manager for General Dynamics. This was a DOD contract between the state department, the USAF GD, and Pakistan for the Foreign Military Sales of 36 F-16 aircraft. For the construction projects I was the project manager and sr. superintendent. Being on an overseas deployment, I wore many hats. I handled contract compliance issues, contract negotiations, as well as biding of the contracts, hiring local trade’s people, safety issues, importation of materials and supervision of the projects. The following projects were preformed at several bases in Pakistan 1982 thru 1987. Single-family officers housing (25 - 3 bedroom units, $1.5 million) Multi family officer quarters (20 buildings that were 2 story, 2 bedroom 4 units in each building $2 million) Computer facility (Mainframe computer facility with printer room and programmers area. Cost unknown.) Communication facility (new telephone switching facility for local and long distance calls, first in the interior of the country) Multiple back shops (repair shops for air craft and aircraft components these were steel and concrete structures there were a total of 10 structures) Runway renovation with barriers (Extend the runways, install overrun barriers, and arresting gear $750,000) Runway renovation and new lighting systems (second airbase, repair damaged section of runway, installed new runway lighting system $450,000) Hardened concrete aircraft hangers (10 new hardened structures, cost unknown) Steel aircraft hangers (Built 8 units, and repaired 12 others. These projects were though the DOD and USAF contract with the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF). Constructed a mainframe computer facility, renovation of warehouse facilities cost $825,000. Helped design and configure health care clinic for the BFD. It did not get constructed. Project manager and some times field superintendent. The following were constructed in East Texas for Evergreen Builders. Time period was from 1994 through 2003 Onsite superintendent including supervision of the trades, scheduling, ordering materials, inspection of work etc… As PM worked contracts, bidding, permits and government regulation compliance. Plus what ever else came along. 440 Acre gated community with marina, complete land development including roads, utilities, land clearing, permits, Etc. $8m 18 hole golf course $4m Restaurant and clubhouse $1m High-end custom homes 55 homes in the cost range of $125,00 to $1m. Built somewhere around 150 spec homes, ranging in the neighborhood of $50k to $225K Model homes (15 units $75k to $125k) Low-end custom homes (unknown number range from $65k to $95k) Multi family homes (10 units. Bi and 4 plex units) 10-unit strip center (cost was $475,000.) Aircraft hangers (various sizes for civilian aircraft) Large Catholic Church (had sanctuary that sat 125, meeting rooms, offices $2m) Land planning of two subdivisions (one as a 500 acre plot the other a 125 acre plot.)
