M&T Bank ¾ For one of the nation’s largest regional banks, “sold” the Information Technology department on the concept of using the Bank’s Enterprise Architecture tool, Mega, as the vehicle to capture functional requirements for the largest cross-functional application in Bank history. Led the team in facilitated sessions and to develop less siloed, end-to-end process approach to optimize total process performance.

Shop at Home Network ¾ For a nationally televised home shopping service provider, developed process flows and process narratives for the company’s Purchase to Payables and Inventory Management processes.

Rich Products Corporation ¾ For a large, privately-held manufacturer of frozen foods headquartered in Buffalo, NY, managed a project team that created a detailed mapping of the product development process for a new food product. Identified over forty opportunities for improving the process. Over half the recommendations were put into practice within six months.

Mentholatum ¾ For a marketer of over-the-counter cold remedies headquartered in Orchard Park, NY, managed the client’s Enterprise Resource Planning system selection project. The selection process included identifying the client’s business requirements, mapping them against over seventy software packages, developing a short list of vendors, creating a custom vendor demonstration script, facilitating vendor demonstrations, and the final selection process.

Invensys (BTR) ¾ For a Tier One automotive supplier with multiple locations across the U.S., managed the client’s selection of a Human Resource Information System. The new system was then implemented to support the company’s Human Resources shared services model.

Davis+Henderson ¾ For one of the largest personal check manufacturers in the U.S. based in Baltimore, MD, played a key role in developing Y2K and business continuity plans for the company.

Independent Health Association (IHA) ¾ For one of the largest Health Maintenance Organizations in Upstate New York, led a small team that conducted an initial and final assessment of the client’s Year 2000 readiness. Key findings during the initial assessment led Independent Health Association to focus more intently on its business processes rather than solely on its information technology, leading to a relatively problem free

HSBC (Marine Midland Bank) ¾ For the Buffalo-based operations of one of the world’s largest financial institutions, led the development efforts for a Real Estate Construction Loan Management system. The application was heavily work flow oriented. Loan application processing decreased 20% as a result of implementation.

S&T Bank ¾ For a Pennsylvania headquartered bank, reviewed S&T Bank’s Business Continuity Plan. Recommended that the bank conduct a Business Impact Assessment to determine its critical business processes and their maximum allowable downtimes. This would assure S&T Bank was investing the appropriate amount of money into its BCP procedures based on level of risk and areas of exposure.
