Skills:
Microsoft SQL server 2000 & 2005 Dev Exp; SQL; stored procedure; trigger; tuning and performance optimization; DTS package devmt, maintenance, & troubleshooting skills : Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of development experience with Microsoft SQL server 2000 and 2005.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent.
Essential Functions:
Excellent SQL, stored procedure, trigger, tuning and performance optimization skills
Strong DTS package development, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills
Performance tuning - Indexing, compression, drive distribution, load-balancing, occasional replication.
Perform routine data maintenance for the development infrastructure - re-indexing, integrity checking, database shrinking, log file monitoring.
Exceptional analysis skills; must be able to research, review and troubleshoot database solutions for business requirements
Active participation in hardware and software recommendations for the database infrastructure.
Microsoft Reporting & Analysis Services and Crystal reports.
