We have an urgent requirement for the Position of Java Developer/ Messaging Architect
Location: Chicago IL
Duration: Full Time / Permanent Position
Availability: Immediate
Description:
Demonstration of a successful history of having worked on enterprise level, high visibility projects.
Hands-on business process integration experience using BPM and integration tools like Tibco Business Works, Aqua Logic, iWare, or BizTalk Server.
Very strong Java design and development skills for high performance applications. Minimum 7 years development experience.
Database design and tuning skills for high volume, low latency systems with hands-on experience with at least two of Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase
Exposure to messaging technologies including JMS, Tibco RV and EMS, and IBM MQ
Financial industry experience, including experience of developing off one or more market APIs
Technical skills:
Very good understanding of Enterprise Bus architectures.
Good comprehension OO Design and concepts.
Must be comfortable in setting up and developing off IBM Web sphere MQ series.
Strong in SQL. Solid experience on how to create and utilize views, stored procedures.
Understanding of data modeling.
Solid experience in XML using XSD and XSLT.
Other knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of FIXML.
Self-managing, in a fast paced development environment.
Extensive knowledge of software development life cycle and accepted practices.
Strategic and analytical thinking skills with an ability to solve problems and make decisions. Ability to conduct research and gather information.
Effective in communicating with, and interacting with fellow team members on a technical and non-technical level.
Understanding of financial products. (Futures, fixed income, equities, etc).
